PR: Covalent developers to be featured at ApacheCon

Covalent Technologies today announced that 10 of its developers will be featured as speakers at ApacheCon, the official user conference of the Apache Software Foundation.

The Covalent sessions announced for ApacheCon range from detailed discussion of Apache 2.0 to mod_perl to managing Apache with SNMP. Covalent employees hosting these sessions represent many of the industry's leading Apache experts and signify Covalent's position as the leader in products and services for Apache.

ApacheCon will be held in Santa Clara from April 4 - 6. The sessions given by Covalent employees include:

  • "Apache Products Overview," Daniel Lopez Ridruejo on April 4 at 9:30 a.m.
  • "QoS management of Internet services," Harrie Hazewinkel on April 4 at 11:30 a.m.
  • "Apache 2.0," Ryan Bloom on April 4 at 4:30 p.m.
  • "All About Virtual Hosting," Tony Finch on April 5 at 9 a.m.
  • "Writing Apache Filters," Ryan Bloom on April 5 at 11 a.m.
  • "mod_perl 2.0," Doug MacEachern on April 5 at 2 p.m.
  • "Taming Daemons - Scaling your Site," Dirk-Willem van Gulik on April 5 at 2 p.m.
  • "Measuring and Enhancing Apache Performance," Sander Temme on April 5 at 6:30 p.m.
  • "Managing the Apache Web Server with SNMP," Harrie Hazewinkel on April 5 at 7:30 p.m.
  • "mod_snake: Boosting productivity with Python," Jon Travis on April 6 at 10:30 a.m.
  • "Why Logging is a Complete Nightmare," Tony Finch on April 6 at 10:30 a.m.
  • "Apache upon Win32 in the round," a panel featuring Ryan Bloom and William A. Rowe, Jr. and others on April 6 at 2 p.m.
  • "Audio and Apache," Sander Van Zoest on April 6 at 4 p.m.

Covalent is a supporter of the Apache Software Foundation, contributing code to the Apache open source project as well as having many members of the ASF on its staff.
