OpenACS, the fully open-source version of the ArsDigita Community System is now available for Apache thanks to mod_aolserver. Using the provided set of RPMs, you can install a fully configured and operational OpenACS on a raw box in 10 minutes. The ArsDigita Community System is a high-end web toolkit for building community sites. It includes over 40 modules of functionality including discussion forums, classified ads, ecommerce, intranet, and many more. The original ACS is Oracle-dependent. OpenACS is the port of the ACS to PostgreSQL.
